Ok...so who is interested in stalling together under the Cammy Curtains for NorCal 2009 in April?

I agree Del, never too early to plan! Well, I'm not 100% sure I can commit because it is so soon and there are so many costs involved, not to mention I have to register my show horse! LOL If I am able to overcome all of those obstacles and make it to show at AHANC, I will DEFINITELY be wanting to stable with everyone under the Ammy Army stall drapes!

Even if you can't bring your horses to show Renee we would love to have you out to hang out!

I will be brining Grace to show. And I just talked to Justin and he is going to bring two of his hunters. Also, Im on Spring Break that week so I plan on hauling in Wednesday or Thursday to be there as long as possible.

We will be at this show for sure! Ready for Jehan's futurity class!

Is a premium available for this show yet? I really need to start figuring out exactly how much money to plan for for this year's show season, so I can figure out whether or not it will even be possible for me to show.

Is there a way to make the show titles link to the premiums, as they become available? That would be great... very helpful! LOL

Just got my premium in the mail a week or so ago. Entries are due March 10th! This is going to be a great show because they will have two judges, which means double the qualification points.

Well, I definitely can't take Fury to AHANC. Including finalizing his registration, it would cost way too much to show. I think I really should shoot for the DAHA Spring Fling show with him, and hope that a miracle occurs and I'm able to pay his registration fee off by then.

I wish I could bring him to AHANC just to get him used to being at a show, but I don't know the rules on that sort of thing, not to mention I'm not sure I could get someone to trailer him in and out the same day.

If you're just trailering in for the day, you could probably do it. They don't check horses/trailers. If you want a stall, you'd have to have someone get an extra. We've taken extra horses before that weren't showing...

We'll be at this one for sure. Probably only taking the two boys...

Justin and I will be sending in our registrations together under "Stall with: K. Ward". We are going to have 2 horses and 1 tack/groom room. If anyone else wants to stall in the same area (Stacy? ) then you can put my name on the bottom of the entry form.

As far as bringing a horse that isn't entered Renee, people do it all the time. If you want to just let me know ASAP and if you send a check I can put an extra tack stall on my entry.

Kaitlyn, the only variable then would be whether or not I can get someone willing to trailer us in and out. If I can find someone willing, I would love to go ahead and bring him along! The stalls are $115 a piece, right?

Have to talk with hubby over show expenses for the remainder of this year. I really want to go to Vegas, so am thinking I may trailer in for AHANC for Jehan's futurity class and leave it at that.

If we change from this, I would love to stable with everyone!

Okay Kaitlyn, just let me know and we'll go from there. I'm discussing with Hubby whether or not I can spend the money... I'm hoping he says yes, but he has his hobbies too so sometimes it's hard to get him to see the value of putting money toward MY hobby instead of HIS! LOL

So, if I get a stall to bring Fury boy, next step is finding a ride there! Which reminds me I have another question for Stacy, being my closest neighbor. Would you be willing or have the time to bring your empty trailer over a couple of times so I can get Fury used to loading and riding? He's never been in a trailer, much less seen one up close, and I'd hate to try loading him for the first time the day I'm planning to take him to the show! That could take up a lot of time, not to mention stressing him out, so I'd rather get some practice in if possible! Let me know if you'll have the time or if you're willing to do that. If you could/would it would be so immensely helpful and I would be very grateful for the help!

Sorry I haven't answered earlier. Was waiting to see what we were doing for AHANC. We've decided just to go and visit. We will be there probably on Thursday and Friday. Offered to help with our clients/friends Shadow Oak Arabians. And, of course to cheer on the AA.

We are going to Vegas, so had to choose between the shows.

I can come over and offer our trailer to teach your boy to load, but will be driving down to AHANC in the car, not the "big rig" . Just let me know we can schedule something.

Sounds good Stacy. I probably won't be able to take him to AHANC anyway, as something in another area of life demands the money instead. I do, however, still want to get him used to loading, just in case it's possible to take him to a different show sometime soon. We'll be in touch, thanks for offering to help out!

Got my entries sent out today! Going to come over on Wednesday with the 5th wheel then bring Grace on Thrusday.
We show in HA Western JTR on Friday and the Champ on Saturday.

It sounds like I might not be able to see you ride. I'll be there Thursday and Friday, but only for the morning.

We went down to watch and help our good friends at Shadow Oak Arabians groom for their classes this morning. They showed their 2008 colt sired by our old man (10 this year!), Akdar Brins. They took 2nd in SHIH stallions ATH! The first place horse was only .9% ahead of them.

The halter class we watched them compete it was terrible. Don't know what happened to the scorecard. The 1st place horse had a terrible short neck, didn't stand up well and was striking at her handler. All of the trainers placed in front of our friends as well as another ammy whose horse had white around her eyes. And, no she was not showing her whites, I'm talking appy whites!

I had so much fun at this show! Im still pretty tired, it was a long weekend.
Here's a couple pics. Justin and I decided to switch horses for our Championship classes, so we borrowed clothes from people and it was a lot of fun!
