What shows is everyone planning on attending this year? Let us know so everyone can organize and stall under the Ammy Army drapes!

The Region 3 qualifying and regional shows planned for 2009 are:

March 26 to 28 - FIESTA DEL MAR II, DEL MAR, CA

March 27 to 29 - GOLDEN GATE ARABIAN SHOW, SANTA ROSA, CA

April 9 to 11 - AHANC ALL ARABIAN & HALF ARABIAN , RANCHO MURIETA, CA

April 30 to May3 - RED BLUFF ARABIAN HORSE SHOW, RED BLUFF, CA

May 7 to 8 - TREASURE VALLEY CLASSIC RG III QUALIFIER, NAMPA, ID

May 14 to 17 - DIABLO ARAB SPRING SHOW, ELK GROVE, CA

May 15 - REGION 3 WRK HUNTER OFFSITE CHAMP, ELK GROVE, CA

May 23 to 24 - COMSTOCK AHA DESERT SPRING, CARSON CITY, NV

June 19 to 21 -GOLDEN GATE ARABIAN DRESSAGE/PACIFIC SLOPE DRSG-SH OFFSITE CHAMP, SANTA ROSA, CA

July 5 to 7- REGION 3 LAST CHANCE SHOW, RENO, NV

Regionals: July 7 to 11 - REGION 3 CHAMPIONSHIP, RENO, NV

Regionals: August 14 to 16 - REGION 3 SPORT HORSE OFFSITE CHAMP, RANCHO MURIETA, CA

Septemeber 25 to 27 - DIABLO FALL FLING, ELK GROVE, CA[b][/b][b][/b]

Wow a Region 3 qualifier all the way down in Del Mar? Though it would be nice if we attracted even more Southern California/Arizona barns to the show, so maybe having a qualifier all the way down there will help that.

Yup. There are a few shows like that which are multiple Region qualifiers. They are usually really good shows because people from multiple Regions will show up.

I'm planning to debut FURIA BP in SHIH at the AHANC show in Rancho Murrietta. If I am unable to show him (showing costs a lot of money, so I'm not sure I'll be able to scrape the funds together, just setting a goal here) I do at least want to bring him to the grounds to get him used to the show environment.



If I head to any shows at all this year, I'll be looking for someone to haul with as I don't have a trailer or a truck. If anyone thinks they'll have trailer space going to AHANC or DAHA Spring Fling let me know, Stacy (Mortrazavi) maybe we should try to hook up on this if possible, since you do only live a hop skip and a jump away from us! Would this be plausable? Any other takers?

I am so excited for this year, I will be doing AHANC, Comstock, and Region 3. Hope to see some of you around

So far Im planning on showing at: Golden Gate, AHANC, DAHA Spring, Region 3, Youth Nationals, DAHA Fall.

We're out of funds, so the kid is earning her own money to show. DAHA Spring and Region III are in our plans, and it's good we have a light schedule as our horse slightly injured his right rear lateral suspensory and is still on stall rest. He''s go into conditioning/training at the end of February instead of next week as planned.

We hope to make it to Youth Nationals in 2010 for Katy's last year as a Youth.

Renee, may be possible. Will have to see as we get closer to the show who will be going. Had people last year wanting to see Brins, so may bring him for liberty or a SH class? Will for sure be doing AHANC and DAHA, not sure on GG yet. You are really right on my way, so if I have a couple of spaces or we make multiple trips, it would work out. With the big guy, I have to leave an empty space.

I'll be anxiously waiting to find out if you will have the space! I'm still aiming for AHANC and DAHA as well, even if I just bring him to show him off. I'm excited for the show season this year, I'm just really hoping I can somehow get involved with my horses this time around!

Hmmmm.....we might be going this year to Last Chance. We shall see. It depends on if my old man wants to. We went the last three years, and at 27...I think we are pushing it. He may think he is 10, but I know better. My two youngsters are not ready to go and my son's horse will be in AZ for WP training!!! YAY mom!!! So, if not I will be available for help and a cheering squad! ( I would say groom....but I am scared to say that word.....I know what will happen to me!!! )

All right, listen up here lady....I am sure you can meet the volunteer list for next year's Scottsdale clipper's party. I am SURE we can find you a barn.......

Okay, Boo's suspensory was actually torn so he won't be back to work until mid/late June. We hope to show him at Fall DAHA. It'll be fun trying to qualify for Nationals (40 points total) from scratch, NOT!

However, Katy has been training a half arabian "Cruiser" who she will take to Comstock all on her own (well, I imagine I'll be of SOME help LOL!) She's got 2 to ride at DAHA, and maybe one will qualify for Region III.

I'll be at Region III from Wednesday (Barn Party) day through Friday. I have to work that Saturday. I think I'm making the food for Cari's barn.

Ugh, that sucks! I am sorry.... I hope it heals soon. I am out due to having a younger one not ready to go, and my old guy in my avatar is just well....retired now. He may not like it, but it is time for me to face the facts he can't carry those weighted shoes any more. He might think he can do it, and weaves when I am ridding someone else and I mean weaves in the corner of the paddock. But at 27 years old it is time.

So maybe I will see ya there! Can't miss our group, we are the loud ones in line for Jessie's Carne Asada! HAHAHAHAHA
