JEFFERSON TO PASS A LAW ON WHO CAN HAVE HORSES AND CONDUCT HORSE ACTIVITIES ON THEIR OWN PROPERTY, THIS IS THE SECOND MEETING, ONLY 3 PEOPLE SHOWED UP TO OPPOSE THIS AT THE FIRST MEETING. HORSE PEOPLE BETTER GET ON THE STICK AND SHOW UP AND LET THESE GOOFBALLS KNOW THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE HERE, THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BE VERY SNICKEY ABOUT THIS, SHOW UP AND BE HEARD OR LET THEM TELL YOU WHAT YOU CAN DO OR NOT DO ON YOUR OWN HORSE PROPERTY. What is the bill that they are talking about? I haven't seen anything out there regarding this. It could be why there haven't been many people at the meetings. Give us more details.

I saw this on craigs list, and then I read about it on a notice they had posted at pet food depot, yesterday. I don't have too many details, but I am going to go to this meeting. I did not go to the meeting, I found this posting on craigs list, but I put it on here because I read the official posting at the feed store, so it is legit, lol. I am trying to find it on line, I think there was something about it in the bridle and bit, but I am still looking.

okay, so we should email her an get an update, since this is current of Feb of this year. I would consider helping out, what do you think Mary? are we the only 2 arizona peeps on this forum? lol ;-)

I know!LOL I'm checking into more on this and will let you know. So far it appears that it has to do with putting on some type of event in a private area instead of at a facility. And to keep people from cramming more horses per area than can support it.

I guess the meeting was the 23rd. I've emailed to ask for updates and will pass those on. There was an amendment proposed, but I'm not sure how it went. This is the first I had heard of it, like you, so I'm hoping we didn't miss out on voicing our input into this type of ordnance.
