| how do you stop it? Horse has been wormed so I know it's not that but he's rubbing hair off & it's really getting bad. Is there anything I can add to his feed to help with this? Thanks for any/all suggestions |

Might he be getting bitten by tiny little gnats? I've seen some horses this time of year and thru the summer, who literally rub out their manes and tails from the itching. Almost seems like an allergic reaction. Try treating his tail really well with fly repellant. |

| I was thinking garlic powder or something in his feed? I've been using baby oil but it doesn't seem to be working |

| Try a mix of 50/50 water and listerine _________________ 'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride!'

| I started rubbing baby oil onto the base of his tail & the top & voila! no more tail rubbing & the hair is growing in nicely. Try that, Simone, it worked wonders for my boy |
