Last year's Scottsdale Ammy Army experience was that of a lifetime and I know that 2010 will be just as fun, especially meeting and sharing with new Army members!

Let me officially introduce myself to those new folks who haven't met me yet. My name is Rebecca and I own and manage McShane Arabians in Hesperia, CA. *Noble Lord JP is my dream stallion and was blessed to show him to a Scottsdale Top 5 Freestyle Liberty last year. I honestly couldn't have done it without the support from the Army!!

Hi All,

I'm doing some research for my little sister (shes 19 so really shes not that little). Well good and high chances are she will be moving with her boyfriend (Sgt. Marine Corps) to the West Mont (sp?) and Johnstown area. And trying to see if any ammy people are in the near area with horses she could ride. Obviously she wants to stick with Arabians, and this would mainly be to keep her riding form...even though she said she'll show for others too as long as it does not interfere with ...

Are there any Region 4 Ammys who would like to band together starting now, with an eye toward getting something done in 2010? I know this has been a tough year for a lot of people, compounded by the fact that AA was so new that a lot of people still don't know anything about it, but I think we really need to meet each other and see who wants to hit the shows next year. In fact, even if you don't particularly care about showing, those who do could still use your encouragement and moral support. ...

Halfway down her neck she pinned her ears back and then all the ay to her withers. When we got to to her withers she not only pinned her ears back but also raised her head. Got to call a chiro now for her and see how long it will take for her to heal. So, she still has a loving home now considering she can heal from this and we will be doing halter.
Hello, my name is Michelle and I live in Prescott, AZ which is about 100 miles north of Scottsdale. I was born in Phoenix and showed halter at the Scottsdale Horse Show in the early 70's when I was 11 years old. I worked as a pony rider and groom at such racetracks as Turf Paradise, Prescott Downs, Fresno, and Penn National. Then in 2005, I purchased two mares, one purebred polish mare by MS Ellusion and a pinto mare by NV Beau Bey. After that, I was hooked again and we now own 17 horses, and ...

Hello, everyone!

We live south of Dallas, just between Corsicana and Athens, Texas on 70 acres of Pecans, Oaks and lots of grass . It's taken me some time to decide on a focus of what I want out of this horsey life; and so we have quite a mix of bloodlines. ...

Although my boy is not yet here (being shipped from Perry Arabians in Utah to me in Texas) I am so enthusiastic about my plans for him already! I want him to settle down for a little while before working on basic ground manners. I am looking to join local breed clubs as I did when I showed an APHA colt to perhaps go to clinics and what not for showing in the Arabian breed shows if they are done. If not then I think it would be a wonderful idea. Anyhow, he'll make a great riding horse after his ...
