Well I haven't been on here in almost a year! i didn't think it had been that long till i saw my last log in date. But i decided it was time to read up so i can start practicing the begining lessons with the new addition to our farm born june 3rd. She's being weaned soon (so mom will stop undermining my work), and a friend / trainer of ours asked if we were going to be showing her at all in 2010 and i definately would like to (mostly open shows in my area). So no time like the present to start ...

Hello, my name is Michelle and I live in Prescott, AZ which is about 100 miles north of Scottsdale. I was born in Phoenix and showed halter at the Scottsdale Horse Show in the early 70's when I was 11 years old. I worked as a pony rider and groom at such racetracks as Turf Paradise, Prescott Downs, Fresno, and Penn National. Then in 2005, I purchased two mares, one purebred polish mare by MS Ellusion and a pinto mare by NV Beau Bey. After that, I was hooked again and we now own 17 horses, and ...

Hello, everyone!

I've been reading all about the Ammy Army since it's inception; pretty impressive what this group does, I have to say. I am a fairly new owner, I've had horses for about 8 years; currently have 15 Arabians and 1 grade mare.

We live south of Dallas, just between Corsicana and Athens, Texas on 70 acres of Pecans, Oaks and lots of grass . It's taken me some time to decide on a focus of what I want out of this horsey life; and so we have quite a mix of bloodlines. ...

I want him to settle down for a little while before working on basic ground manners. I am looking to join local breed clubs as I did when I showed an APHA colt to perhaps go to clinics and what not for showing in the Arabian breed shows if they are done. If not then I think it would be a wonderful idea. Anyhow, he'll make a great riding horse after his ...

My name is Briana, and I am a full time college student who spends all of my time (and money, hah) on my horses

I've always admired the arabian breed, and this past summer I bought 2- one pb arab, and one half arab. I also have 3 quarter horses, and I have been mainly involved with dressage and jumping with them over the years and am excited for a new adventure with my arabs.
Hey everyone. I've just acquired my first Arab. Her call name is Kaycee and she's a 6 month old filly that I will be training for yearling halter in the spring. I'm normally part of the "gaited" crowd, so training an Arabian is new to me. My business partner, an Arabian and Friesian breeder here in Georgia, suggested I join this site to watch and learn. I have been told I can learn all I need to know here. I am looking forward to it!

Let the learning begin....

So glad to have found you and looking forward to seeing you around.

I have several arabians, and a couple of friesians thrown in for good measure. I'm looking forward to trying my own hand at the halter training/showing; have been tempted for years.

Located outside of Atlanta GA.

Talk to you soon!

Hello everyone! I am Mary Susan Costa, in Black Forest, Colorado. So far this year I have hit one class A show and some open classes at a local Saddlebred show. I plan to take my guy to several more Colorado shows this season and would to have someone else from the Army to stall with and enjoy some general horse show fun! We will be in Estes Park over July 4th, Longmont July 12th and at the Colorado Fall Charity show. Hope to see you there.

Hay y'all, finally found my way over here. I sure hope everyone is well and propering!!! Ok, if not prospering, well and having fun with your horses, I sure am.

I'm new to this board but not new to Arabians and NSH. I mostly show Pinto due to the costs of the Arabian shows, but I do have purebreds and I do show them at Arabian shows on occasion.

Hoping to drop in from time to time and hopefully to learn something new and fun!
