| well the breeding season is almost over, so I thought it might be fun to see who chose who to breed to their mares? I will go first: Desperado Rose ( Desperado V x Apen Colorado) confirmed in foal to Lion of Judah Aladra ( *Fawor x Aladina) bred to Star Ghazal pending confirmation Mattaceres ( Zodiac Matador+ X Bksx Ceres) bred pending confirmation to Beywatch V also, I have an Aladdinn Echo daughter that is 13 days past her due date, so please send some baby dust my way so she foals soon!

| I have two mares bred this year at my house. I just purchased a new mare to breed next year. I researched a lot on what I wanted to do since I probably won't be breeding anymore until I get some babies sold Audacious PS , my mare Lumiar Desiree (Lumiar Amadeus*Missy Dey Bask) is in foal to him for an early April foal TC Miyake, my mare Dondi Rei Maria (Twinfir ExtraGold*Charmonique--Gdansk) we are expecting an early March foal For 2010 breeding I just purchased Jealousy and she will be bred to I Got Lucky - he is out of the same dam of The Hurricane and TC Miyake I am very excited to see what we will get, I am hoping the crosses I chose work out great |

| I'm breeding my Brass daughter to Maclintock V early in 2010. I purchased her too late to get her in foal for '09, so we're hoping to have her in foal in March or April! Kristen Hanson _________________ Kristen Hanson Jagged Ridge Arabians

| Hey Kristen, have you checked out Baywatch V? if you are considering breeding to varian lines, he has some real fantastic babies that are very upright, and have won money in different futurity programs. just a thought ;-) |

| how exciting Stacy. sorry about your older mare. all of my mares are over 19, and we had no problems with any of them with the exception of Aladra, she had only one foal about 10 years ago. it took 2 cycles to get her to settle. I don't know if you have tried Oxy on the older mare? I use it on all of my older mares, and it works like a charm. the only mare I used regumate on was Aladra, only because she settled and slpped embryos all year last year. but this time on the regumate she is 60 days confirmed in foal, so that worked for her....... maybe when you breed her next year use Oxy and then have her progestron tested, then you will know if you need to use regumate or not? |
