Hi,
I ran across a really interesting article about the early importations to England and the US. I deals with the history of the related registries and the fact that the first horses were recorded in the TB stud books and were actually double registered as TB & Arabians because there was not a dedicated Arabian Studbook at the time. It clears up a lot of the misunderstanding regarding the purity of Skowroneck and some of the other early horses. A really good read. http://cmkarabians.com/articles/RJDoubleRegArab89.html farao Ellen
