My name is SSG Puckett, currently mobilized (not deployed), married to my husband (also military) and I am glad to have found this forum as I am new to the Arabian show world. My first horse was a 2 y/o Half-Arabian stallion, nicknamed Buddy, and he is the reason I fell in love with the Arabian breed. I was eleven at the time, he was green broke and the best behaved gentleman I've ever known. He has never offered to bite or kick me. Offers to buck came many years later with long layups, but was never more than a few strides at the canter due to excitement. Buddy now lives with me at my new location. My horse herd has since grown to 4 Arabians, 2 half arabians, 1 morgan and a Paint, many of which are very young or not broke. I look forward to sharing many stories on this forum and asking questions, as I am an Amatuer with many hopes and dreams to cruise the Arabian show circuit.
