Hello I'm Ed. Not new to Arabians but new to fourm and not much of a poster, more of a "lurker" I guess. Hope to improve my showing by learning from all of you! I got the first horse of my own at age 8,(1/2 Morgan 1/4 Arab 1/4 QH).She was pragant from a breeding to a remount stallion (Thorghbred, son of Sea Bisquit).and have been involved with horses ever since. The next year I bread her to a QH stallion but she didn't catch and the stallion owner mearly said "to bad". Luckly at that same time my dad had meet a person who had an Aeabian Stallion and he said he would breed my mare and work with us untill she was in foal! I've been raising Arabians ever since.

Welcome, Ed. Do feel free to jump in - this is a friendly forum.

I can remember seeing ads for QH stallions in the magazines years ago, where the ad read "Return in season". In other words, you had to send your mare back in the same year as original breeding if she needed re-bred. I think we have it much better today with the live foal guarantees.

Hi Ed, You'll love it here in this forum! I knew very little before I got my little arab mare and over this past year(wow has it really been that long?) Rana(my mare) has tought me a lot and then joining here I have been able to learn a lot and practice what I learned. I hope you share your knowledge.
