So, who from Ammy Army has plans for Scottsdale 2010? I'll be there with my gelding and am looking forward to my first Scottsdale show in MANY MANY years!

Well, I'm sort of making plans for it. Looking at getting maybe a couple of horses ready. Time will tell ... husband's business is slow, and will be a big determining factor.

I may go to watch. No showing, my mare is prego. When things get more clear as to schedules, please post your classes. I will probably do what I did last year and watch ammy halter, dressage and sporthorse.

It will depend on how good the colt looks & if Mike thinks he's ready. Mike Wilson in open & me in Ammy with Celtic Thunder!

I'm hoping to be there to lend a hand this year. Work is the deciding factor, but I'll be sure to make it on the weekends. It's a fun show and I wish everybody showing great success! Post what classes everyone is going into and I'll be cheering you all on from the stands!

so I looked up your colt on datasource, and I see he is Bluespruce Tanzeer breeding on the bottom, cool! I have a Star Ghazal filly that has Bluespruce Tanzeer in the same place in her Pedigree

Bless them for taking a suggestion I sent last year -- they are offering FEI Test of Choice so those who want to compete FEI can ride what ever tests they want!

That makes it very appealling.

Yes FEI

For Dressage there are the National tests -- Training through 4th level. FEI tests are Prix Ste. Georges, Intermediare 1, Intermediare 2, Grand Prix (Grand Prix being the level you see at the Olympics).

Having FEI Test of Choice means you can pick which level you want to compete. Last year they only offered Prix Ste. Georges on one day and Intermediare 1 on the other. This eliminated anyone wanting to compete I2 or Grand Prix. Or two PSG or two I1.

I am going with the poster, KAHANSON! SOOOO excited! What is also exciting is that I am going to show her boy in SHIH! Wahhhoooo this will be my very first Scottsdale ever!
Also I will be working on the next couple months on getting Equine Massage certified hopefully before/for Scottsdale so I could offer massages to horses that are there.

If everything works out for the massage certification I will offer a reduction in price to ABN/AA members that would be interested in having their horses done!
