Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to introduce to you our up and coming stallion, NN Psymin Azferdron. At only 2 years old, this colt has already been named the Region 9 SHIH Stallion Grand Champion. As well, he was ATH Reserve Champion. He has most recently been named USEF Region 9 Reserve Horse of the Year in both Arabian Halter and Arabian Sport Horse categories.

Since beginning his show career, while still at the side of his dam, Psymin has been a SHIH winner at all levels of competition. At his first A rated show while 7 1/2 months old, Psymin outplaced senior stallions.

This fiery red head is quite the package. He is a kind and inquisitive colt. He has been handled by me, his owner and breeder, since the moment he was born. He is trusting and extremely responsive. Having bred him and personally known the sire, it is obvious of his inherited demeanor. His sire, by Padron Psyche and out of Evening Starr, carries some of the finest Russian halter and performance bloodlines out there. His dam, by the Azraff son Tajma Zar-Raff and out of KY Khonfetti, brings an abundance of Azraff/Ferzon and other Crabbet blood so noted for their beauty and hardiness.

Psymin will be standing to a limited number of mares in 2010. Until then, watch him grow both physically and with accomplishments.

The dam of this colt just went SHIH Reserve Champion PB Mares at the Houston All Arabian Show. This was her 2nd SH Class A show. She is 19 years old.

A very Ammy. My husband. Chantilly is his show horse and riding horse...whenever he gets the itch.

Both of my horses are ammy trained and have never seen a professional so far.

Psymin has received two awards from the USEF for it's 2008 Horse of the Year program. Awards are given at Regional and National levels. Psymin competed in both Halter and Sport Horse disciplines.

For his Reserve Halter awards, those competing for the title include all sexes of PB Arabians across all age groups. Psymin brought home a Reserve for R9. For his 3rd place Sport Horse award, those competing for the title include all sexes and all Sport Horse disciplines for PBs (under saddle and in hand). Psymin was able to bring home a 3rd (there were 2 ties for Grand so no Reserve was handed out) for R9 even though he only competes in SHIH.

I have great career expectations. I'd like to try flat track racing. Maybe after that I would like to try reining. I'm already riding out on the trails so at coming 3 years old I am an official trail horse.

I'm also a very sensitive stallion (but you don't have to tell the other studs).

This colt is going so well under saddle. He is mastering trails and is even jumping. This is the potential he has to pass onto his get.

Nice looking boy! He sure seems to have a good mind! What is your goal with him?

My first try will be flat track racing. If he is not competitive there we will try some working western disciplines starting with reining. Based on his movement I think he can be a hunter as well (open hunter rather than a hunter at our AHA A shows). He has a knack for jumping and does it at a nice, quiet pace.

This colt has just gone Top 5 at the 2009 Region 9 Sport Horse Championships in Waco, TX. He was Top 5 in both Purebred Stallions SHIH Open and ATH.

He was outshined by his dam, who at 19 years old, took Grand Champion Mare in the SHIH Open and Reserve for ATH. She was also named Reserve Champion of Champions with the 2nd highest SHIH score for a Purebred (there were around 44 GOs). Her and I received a wonderful silver belt buckle for the highest Ammy Handler/Owner combo score for SHIH.

We certainly had a great showing with our two!

For all the folks who want a horse that can DO, this is your stallion. In September, he will be heading out to San Antonio, TX to begin his race training career. He has shown halter and has been a Regional Champion SHIH Stallion.

He works in the arena, he hacks out on the trails in mixed company, he swims at a professional pool, he's a Regional Champion - this is one well rounded boy.
