Cowboy Dressage - USEF approved for Morgans

Hi All,
I thought it was interesting to receive an email about Cowboy Dressage. http://www.cowboydressage.com/westernDressage.html I was surprised to learn that this is a USEF approved discipline for Morgans. It appears that it is a developing discipline. I don't think that there is a prettier western horse in the world than an Arabian and Arabians should really excel at this.

I think it's a great concept. Especially since, at least so far in the Arab community, dressage is a very amateur accessible discipline. And I do believe all horses can benefit from dressage no matter what their job is. It's a great idea to open up the world of dressage to be more inviting to the western divisions. Would be nice to see something like this on the Arab side. Though, for the shows that do *only* sport horse...there are no other sport horse classes for western horses. Maybe the sport horse shows could combine with the working western divisions. I've always seen the cow horses and cutting horses as more akin to the sport horses than the main ring horses as it is.

This is very interesting.

My boy could excel in something like this. And I think Arabians would make all that more enjoyable.
