Hi there from Kentucky/Region 14!

Hi there!

As many others did, I recently saw the article in MAH and was curious. It seems that over the years, as I have become more "independent" as an amateur, I'm not having as much fun showinig my horses because of the lack of comradarie at the shows. This sounds like a great group to assist with that. Currently, I have four HA/DHH crosses. I am fortunate (or unfortunate enough--depends on your viewpoint) to have bred all of them. One is actually in training for driving... The others reside with me at home. Two are SHIH/Dressage prospects (working towards the riding goal at least). The last one is a CEP prospect working on gaining muscle to move into that division in the future (right now he tries to masquarade as a Dressage horse). Next year, two of them will be in the KAHABA program.

Who else is in Region 14? Would love to know!

Hi! I'm in Region 14; I've also recently joined. I'm currently looking for my first Arabian, and have been wondering what it might be like to show without a trainer. From the look of things ammyarmy ought to be a good place to share experiences.
