For those of you who use exercise balls to aid you riding, is there some rule of thumb on how to determine what size you need? I have one (funny story as to how I came by it) that may or may not be a bit small. I ended up putting it on top of a couple of cinder blocks; this allowed me to drop my thighs further down its sides.

But if there's anyone who really knows about them, please enlighten me. Also, how much inflation do they need? I bought a foot type pump, but every time I try to use it, the air seems to escape from the ball faster than I can pump the air in.
