Hi from Arizona Empty
PostSubject: Hi from Arizona   Hi from Arizona EmptySat Apr 23, 2011 6:28 pm

Hey everyone!

I am a new member and currently own one PB mare and I work for a private Arabian breeding facility. I have loved horses in general since memories began and have owned horses for about 20ish years or so. (I did take some time off when I married and had children.)
My first horse was a HA and then I moved into TB's, Paints and QH's. I have been back with Arabians for 3 years.

My mare is by Bremervale Enforcer out of Fontine (Padrons Psyche). She is 5 and has had about 11 months under saddle. She competed at Scottsdale this year in the reining futurity where she had the most expensive lead change flub I will probably ever pay for. Laughing Other than that, she did marvelously for the amount of time she had under saddle. We are aiming for the show ring by ourselves now because I can no longer afford the training fees!

I am currently trying to learn how to train her for halter. I have done Paints and Quarter Horses and a lot of young horse conditioning, but standing an Arabian up for halter is a totally new jungle for me. Smile

It should be an interesting ride!

I'm very pleased to have found this forum and look forward to new knowledge and friends. Thank you!

And since posts need pictures! :

Thank you! Unfortunately, we have had an injury and are on stall rest now. :/ Hopefully she will make a full recovery and we will go back to training. She was doing really well with it before the injury!
