Hi,
This is a great idea - there are a lot of amateurs out there who all have a lot to contribute. We just don't have the names or faces behind us. I did some time as a little bitty professional, but got a little burned out on the shows, hours, travel, customers, etc. and I clearly wasn't going to hit the big time so I sat out and got my ammy card back. I have met a lot of GOOD amateurs who could be professionals if they wanted to, but found that taking the time for their their own enjoyment of their horses, their families, God and Country took priority.
I have one PB gelding now that I have had for several years. He is unshown and is still greenbroke. I have my own business, a tack shop, that requires about every waking moment so the poor little fellow may be greenbroke for a couple of more years. He has a great mind - he just hasn't got much of a formal education. We mostly just putter around on the trails for now.
Cheering for all of you............ bounce rendeer bom cheers Ellen aka Audie

Hi Ellen and welcome to the Ammy Army Forum! There are actually a couple of us (I think three at this point) who are professional trainers but support the Army 100%! You should post a link to your store's website in the Products/Services Forum or the Tack For Sale Forum. Glad to see you here!

It is great to have both you and your knowledge in the family. Welcome. Enjoy yourself and please feel free to pitch in with your knowledge as you see fit.
