Signing on from WA

I finally got registered so I could say "Hi!" from the Weather Capital. Sun, Snow, Floods, and freezing fog, all in one state! My husband and I have 4 Half-Arabians, my 3 are pintos ;-). We're going to look into Sport Horse and whatever else looks like fun. I used to show but haven't been in the ring other than Lead Line for YEARS. I'll be hanging around, gleaning info and posting pictures when I get the hang of it. I might go to Scottsdale too!

This is a great site with lots of information and great people. Oh and the easiest way to post pics is just to use your photobucket account and add them in that way. PM me if you want exact instructions. It took me a while to figure it out.

Hi Julie and welcome aboard! This is a great forum with friendly people who are always willing to share and exchange information and expertise! Glad to have another Washingtonian!! My daughter lives in Port Orchard and I love driving up there to visit! I call it the land of pine trees, ocean, and bald eagles!

Thanks for the warm welcome! We're up North of Seattle. We have an eagles nest just down the road from us (we're on a Dead End) and really enjoy listening to all the noise they make! Port Orchard is beautiful, wish one of my kids would move over there so I'd have a good excuse to visit ;-) We have one at home, one in Iraq and one in Wenatchee, all boys.

CVR, I will have to try the photobucket. I just have the pictures on my harddrive - pretty backward, I know. We're going to try to get out more this year. I have a yearling and coming 4 year old - both fillies, so we'll see how they look this coming month. I'd like to do a little showing but have had alot of family to tend to so we'll see how this Spring pans out. The weather is a real setback, we don't have an arena so it's hard to get ready until things get a little warmer.
