| THE AMMY HORSE WORLD IS THE BACKBONE OF THE SPORT!
I have been in horses starting in 1961 with race horses. With arabs starting 1966. I'm from PA and now live in Alabama with my wife. I still have a small training and breeding farm. I love to work with young horses and kids of all ages. I guess I would be a Military Adviser.

| Hello T-MAC and welcome to the Ammy Army forum. The AA forum has proved to be a very nice place for amateur owners to gather and exchange information, expertise, or just to chat horses. We are happy to have a "home" without the pressures of being mocked or looked down upon or intimidated because we ask questions and want to learn or do things ourselves. I hope you find the AA forum an interesting place to hang your hat...you'll find many friendly people here. I would love to hear more about Arab racing!
Cheers! Rebecca | |

Cheers! Rebecca Hi Rebecca, I'm happy when people are open and share their knowledge and love of the horse. I spent my youth on the race track with standards trotters mostly. I got my trainers lic when I was 16. I have been showing and training Arabs after that. I also have imported over 100 from Egypt starting back in 1976. All horseman started as Ammys. We should never forget how and why we started our travels in the horse world. Good to be with such an open group.

Cheers! Rebecca Hi Rebecca,
I'm happy when people are open and share their knowledge and love of the horse. I spent my youth on the race track with standards trotters mostly. I got my trainers lic when I was 16. Good to be with such an open group. Hi T-MAC...I believe you are very correct that everyone started out as Ammy's...some people have been plain lucky and some people have success due to grit, determination, and plenty of hard work. There have been many changes, both positive and negative over the years. I'm hoping mine and others participation in the AA movement can bring this industry back full circle to what it meant in the beginning. I love the camaraderie and fellowship the AA has created and the focus back on the beautiful Arabian horse! How blessed you've been to have traveled to wonderous places...and to import so many horses...what an impact that's made on the industry! I acquired my love for horses at the tender age of 7 when my parents bought an Appendix mare off the track..love at first sight and forevermore!...I spent many days with my best friend and her parents at Los Alamitos and Hollywood Park growing up! The wonder and magic of horses should always be treasured and cherished! Rebecca
