| Well, it's been a few years since I've produced any foals through my breeding program, and with another breeding season rapidly approaching, I've been dreaming of prancing foals more and more. I can't afford to have any foals of my own any time soon, so of course my next option was to lease out my girls on-site so I could at least PLAY with some babies for a while to get my fix. I haven't found a lessee for Felicia SFF yet, but I DID find someone to lease Jazzy, despite her not being registered yet. I will have 1 year (should be enough time) to get her and the foal's sire registered before the baby will arrive. The sire will be FURIA BP (Farenhyte x Felicia SFF by Europejczyk) and the dam All That Jazz BP (A Sentry x AH Ambrozja by El Paso) Both are pure Polish, bay and drop dead gorgeous athletes. They're also both home-bred!!! That's the most exciting part for me, as a small breeder. I know, I know, tsk tsk and shame on me for not having registered these guys but the money wasn't there. No need to chastize or anything, it's a trivial issue given the fact I know their parentage and will have no issue registering them. In fact, those are their given names already I simply have to pay the fees and do the DNA tests! Anyway, what are your plans for 2009 as a breeder? | |

| We are breeding our Jasmine *Bey Shah granddaughter* to Shaddofax & we're keeping that baby since it'll be out of the love of my life mare. We've also leased a Padron bred mare who will be bred to KM Bugatti & that baby will be for sale. Nice to see you here, Renee & that you're sticking with your dreams | |

| We are expecting 3 of our own foals, plus our good friend Melodie's mare bred to our Jr stallion. So, 4 more babies for us this year. (Renee, you're more than welcome to come over and play with our babies) We will be breeding our SE mare to Akdar Brins again this year. Would like to have a 2nd foal to grow up with that one, but not sure if we'll breed anyone else. We have 3 mares we're looking to do breeding leases on, 2 Crabbet mares and a TB mare. | |

| After a terrible breeding season last year, we're trying one last season with our mare NN Chantilly Lace. She is booked to Magic Aulrab. She is 19 this year and has been open for 3 years. Maybe the stars will align. | |

| This weekend I take Chantilly for her "well woman" exam. We're going to devise our breeding strategy and hopefully get this pretty lady knocked up this spring. | |

| Our goal is getting Quantico's dam (Padron daughter), who is 22 this year, back in foal for a full sibbling and breeding our NV Beau Bey daughter as a back up in case the Padron daughter won't take or slips it again. That's it though, leaving 7 mares open!!! | |

| Good luck Jerome and Monique! Hope that breeding takes! So hard with those older mares. That's why we'll be breeding our SE mare (besides we like the cross!). | |

| Hahha, I noticed you had posted again and I was going to ask if you were wearing your skirt today. We all know Monique is over your shoulder anyway! Thankfully so, or you'd have been showing somewhere in Utah or something | |

| I'm happy to announce that Fury might be siring *another* foal for 2010! I just received an inquiry from a gal who has a gorgeous tri-color Welsh mare that she is thinking about breeding to Fury! If it happens, they are going to make a gorgeous half-Arabian foal, and I can't wait to see that one either! We're looking to get a March foal from Jazzy in 2010, so we're anxiously preparing to start covering her in a few weeks! I can't wait, and neither can the foal's owner; this is going to be one sporty foal! Celzeus is doing well down in TX as well, and has been covering two older Aladdinn daughters. His lessee and I are holding our breath hoping these old gals will take, as it has been some time since either has had a foal. He has also garnered the interest of some of the local stock horse affecionados, so we've yet to see exactly what 2010 will hold for him as a sire. I'm hoping for a fairly decent foal crop, but even one will be fine with me! Can't wait to see pictures of all of these 2010 foals in the works... they all ought to be just spectacular! | |

| Congrats Renee! Glad Zeus is in good hands. Would love to see the 1/2 Arab/Welsh baby. We've been wanting to produce one of those for years. They are so darned cute! I think Jerome gets a pass as he's got the sequined outfit... | |

| OMG LMAO about the sequins! I say that definitely grants him a pass! I, too, am excited about the possibility of the Wel-ara foal; it ought to be gorgeous I'm sure! Momma isn't a registered Welsh, but at least the foal would be registerable as a HA anyway. Heck, it might even end up pinto like mom and be double registerable! LOL I'm really excited about where Zeus is at now, if nothing else, simply for the reason he is getting TONS of attention and love, which is what he thrives upon! He's also out with mares, so he's finally able to enjoy the company of equines on the *same* side of the fence! From what my lessee tells me, this is something he is thoroughly enjoying! I'm anxious to find out whether or not either mare will take and stay pregnant, though... Cross your fingers! | |
