Hay all,

I was watching the video from Scottsdale and I came across the "Ammy Army". Well I have to tell you it was a nice surprise. I have been showing my arabians as an amature owner, trained and shown for several years. I could not pay for the extra cost of a trainer or their fees at a show. When I add up the hotel, food, travel etc... it is a small fortune. I have two Arabians that I plan to show this year. Brother (KJR Piper) 16 hands as a three year old Sport Horse hunter under saddle and sister (KJR Prospect Avenue) 15.2 hands, five Western pleasure and trail horse. Both by "Prixtender" who is by "Padron" Their dam is "Lucky Chantz" who was sired by Kazum.
Last year I sold my experienced show horses. "Hai Waive+" Canadian Nationals top 10 in Show Hack AAOTR, Regional Champ in Showhack, Costume and Country. Numerous top 5's in Western and Trail. This horse had a story behind him. Was bought in an aution in Arizona when he was two months, for $35.00. I then bought him from his first owner when he was two. I trained him and showed him to his "Legion of Honor Award". He was shown in the "Calgary Stampede Parade" and did a course with the Calgary City Police Service. I retired him at age 18 and sold him back to his original owner for the same price.
Two years ago is the last time I showed. That was a great year. Showed a friends horse to two Canadian National top 10 placings in Sport Horse Hunter Under Saddle open and Sport Horse Show Hack Open third on the judges cards.
I look forward to meeting new arabian owners and members of the "Ammy Army". Deb
