Akdar Brins-Straight Egyptian, Sire of Champions

Brins' sire and grandsire were both regional halter champions. The paternal grandsire was US National Champion stallion in halter and Champion in English Pleasure. HIA Sud Abnus was the culmination of a highly respected breeding program which spanned over twenty-five years.
Brins' dam RA Jehan was Windamere Arabians foundation Straight Egyptian broodmare. Her sire was US National Top Ten in halter and Show Hack and Country English Pleasure and second in his age group at Salon Du Cheval.

Brins has exceptional size, good bone, exotic type, refinement and extravagant movement. He has a kind, gentle disposition. Brins is producing wonderful foals. All are of good size, typey and have wonderful dispositions. His foals are great for Main Ring Halter and Performance including Western and Hunter Pleasure, and are also great Sport Horses.

Brins' first foal crop in 2006 produced: 3 Champions SHIH, and a Top 5 halter out of 5 foals (5th foal wasn't shown) as yearlings. His first Anglo Arabian foal was named Reserve Grand Champion at his first show as a yearling, beating many aged horses in the competition.

Brins is available for breeding Straight Egyptians, purebred and half Arabians.

He is SCID clear. His strain is Dahman Shahwan.

Just got back from our local show today. Brins' 2008 colt owned and bred by Shadow Oak Arabians took 2nd place in SHIH Stallions ATH! He scored .9% below the 1st place horse. The judge was impressed with this lovely boy.
