I just got done reading the article on the Ammy Army in the Arabian Horse Times and thought it was timed I joined. I'm impressed at what this group has accomplished and I think that this is something the Arabian industry has needed for a very long time and I'd be proud to be a part of.
I've been riding about 6 years seriously and have from day one loved Arabs. I have a 8 year old mare that I have had for four years. She's done well in dressage and HP. Unfortunately she's been unfortunate with injuries and it seems likely her show career may be cut short. She's been a blast to work with she's all attitude and knows when to turn it on in the show ring.
I just purchased a 4 year old gelding who has been blessed with incredible movement. I'm hoping he'll take me far in the dressage ring. I've had two rides on him and he seems agreeable to his job. I'm actually going to venture out with him to a clinic tomorrow and have some schooling shows in site.
I am hoping next year that I'll be back on the show circuit with both horses and look forward to being a part of the Ammy Army
