Damascus Messiah daughter, Xanadu Athena, for sale

Xanadu Athena is another interesting mare from the same farm as Pearl Pendant. Sired by Damascus Messiah (*Padron x SX Daphne by *Serafix) and out of Jazzabu (*Marhaba x Golda Ghazala - intensely linebred Abu Farwa). Everyone here at the site knows *Padron, *Serafix, and the Abu Farwa horses, I'm sure. Those of you who may be newer to the breed may not know that *Marhaba was Netherlands National Champion, and European Reserve Champion at Salon Du Cheval in Paris. Athena is a 1985 chestnut who has three foals that I'm aware of - 2006, 2007, and 2008. She was not exposed last year following the birth of that colt. In fact, she arrived here bred to one of two colts that she was running in pasture with in 2007, unbeknownst to me, so he was quite a surprise. Like Pearl, she is priced at $500. I am offering her with breeding to Breakdansk, or if someone is genuinely interested in her but wants her in foal to their own stallion, I would work with them on getting her in foal by transported semen to prospective buyer's stallion.
