Well.. I know nothing about showing horses, but I do have some that I'd like to show. My stallion was shown in a non-AHA show in his younger days, and has been my trail horse since, but I'd love to see him back in the ring (he was shown English Novice/Hunter). I also have a halter mare that really should get out into the world, and a pony mare that's green, but can go any way. I'm too big to ride her (she's a petite 13.2hh). If anyone might like to "lease" them please contact me. Two of them can be lease to own if you decide you like them, or an outright sale. I'm not desperate to sell them, not even really driven... But they ARE just being wasted here. While I'm by no means a good rider, I'd call them for at least an intermediate. Photos are of the two "possibles."

Oooo I would also love to hear more about the mare as well, who is the girl riding her? She looks on the younger side. What is the mares personality like? Is she mellow and calm, do you think she would do well with a child rider after someone has finished her training? Thanks!!!
Your horses are both beautiful!

Rolling Eyes Forgot to answer this part. Yikes! The girl in the photo at the top is one of the students at the stable that I had her started at. Below is my daughter's first ride. Usually I just put my daughter up and lead her by her mane. Imaana is very sweet, and I love her to death.

Hi NEIGHbor lol. Are you going to show at the Empire State Show? I'm personally crossing my fingers. Your horses are gorgous. Wish my mare wasnt always looking like a cute fuzzy teddy bear in the winter lol.

probably not... I might watch though. I've never shown, and while I ride well enough to stay on a horse, I've never had serious formal training. I wouldn't look good doing it. Wink That's why I'd rather let someone else show them... The horses have more experience than I do.

I've taken a few lessons with him. When I'm at shows I'm also a backup groom, help with the junior riders because he's always got quite a few. I just wish he was closer... its an almost 2 hour trailer ride one way.
