Hi everyone!
My name is Lisa Morales, I'm 36, stay at home mom. I've recently had a decline in my health and it has made me look over some aspects of my life. I have been telling myself I'd have someone train and show my stallion "when I have the money" but now I have made the decision to do it myself, life is short. I'm not going to die anytime soon (I hope not anyway) but I'm weak and tired all the time so I want to enjoy life in case I get any worse over the years.
My stallion is LHA Pandemonium, barn name Sticky. I love him like a best friend, I bred him and have owned him since he came into this world. He is 7 years old now. He is by Barbary East (Barbary+++ x Bastique, by *Bask x *Gawra) and out of RF Secret Love (RF VirtualReality x RF Royal Secret, by AM Beau Triomphe). RF VirtualReality's dam is a *Bask/*Padron granddaughter. Lots of performance breeding and it shows. He is 14.2 hands barefoot.
I am going to aim for Sport Horse in Hand first since that seems like something we could do. I would eventually like to show him in dressage but if I do that myself, first I have to take riding lessons because I haven't ridden since I was a little girl and then only bareback. I have shown him once in an Open show when he was 18 months old, in hand, and he won both of his classes. Other than my wedding day and the birth of my daughters, I have to say that day was one of the very best in my life. He showed like he'd been doing it forever and impressed the judge, who happened to be a retired Arabian breeder.
I also feel like he's going to waste standing around in a paddock doing nothing. He thrives on work and attention. I also would like to see him sire some athletic foals, purebreds and Half-Arabians. He's sired one of each so far and both were very, very nice. Everything I hoped for from the breedings.
So I have a lot of reading to do to catch up on all the tips and helpful information on this site. I look forward to learning and getting into the show ring with my man Sticky. I can not explain how much I love this horse but I am sure you know the feeling. Thanks for having me!
