Well, we're doing our final packing now. Heading out around 8 tonight. If all goes well, we should arrive around 6am. Will take some pix and post tomorrow night after we get a nap and settle in a little bit.

We're hauling 2 in. Our boy Jehan and our friend's colt Zonyx.

Good luck to everyone headed to Vegas! Wish I could have made it out there to watch this year (I love that show!)...hopefully things work out so that I can next year! Can't wait to hear how everything goes!

I really have had no time to look into it because of work issues....I will make a call tomorrow and enquire.

Mission accomplished....Wheels up for Las Vegas this afternoon. Anticipate an O'dark thirty arrival on Thursday morning. Only adjustment...Prize was scratched from Thursday's ATH classes and was swithched to the OPEN. Both boys will go off on Saturday.

What happens in Vegas does NOT stay in Vegas when friends are showing. I expect full reports, photos and gossip....

Ok, ok...I took a couple of pictures today of our friend's colt Zonyx getting his evening groom and bath. He was busy giving our daughter Persia kisses. Will post tomorrow night along with some show pix.

We spent today trying to set up, school and clip. I decided on a last minute clip of Jehan (thanks to Monique and Jerome). My back is killing me tonight!

Mark will be showing Zonyx tomorrow in Jr colts/geldings so look for him and again on Saturday. I'll be showing in the same class with the commander again with our boy Jehan!

Can you guys give the rundown on which class numbers to look for? Stacy, are you showing ATH today? I know you guys are super busy! I'll be watching the feed this afternoon and fighting off people trying to make me do work

Yep. Del did pretty good yesterday. Showing some nice horses for Brookville.

Our friend Mark Browning also showed yesterday with his colt. Scores weren't as good as we had expected, but he was first to go. We noticed the scores kept going up after he went. We're considering that the practice run for Saturday.

Nat, I'm only showing on Saturday. Class 118, Mark will show Zonyx in class 119.

Good luck Stacy! I won't be able to watch as we'll be at Dale Harvill's open house for our club on Saturday.

I had the same experience in 2007. My filly was the 2nd horse to show. Johanna Ulstrom showed her first and did a great job. When I showed her in ammy junior mares, her score was up by 20 points. I don't do as good a job as Johanna.

How did things go today?? Sounds like everyone is having a great show...I'm sad I'm not there...but that's the way things go sometimes. I can't wait to see pictures and hear more! Hugs to all!

Del did good today! Took 4th with Primo, Prize scored well also 317 I think it was. That was a tough class and he didn't ribbon, but he looked great and the scores were very good.

Mark took 4th place in his class! (btw: finally got him to join! He's Shadow Oak Arabians, so everyone say hi!)

Jehan didn't place either, but I was pleased with his scores. He showed well, but we both need some more work. We'll be showing again next month!

Sorry don't have any good pix yet. Our camera doesn't take good photos in the arena. My step dad got some photos of Jehan, not the best shots from a non-horsey person. Will post when I get them.

I know...but I couldn't get off from work, and NL still has an ugly on his cannon bone from when he cast in his stall..it sure would have been a fun time.

Sounds like you guys are having a blast! Crappy day for me thanks to other people but I'm so excited for all of you & how well you're all doing. Pics when you get a chance would be much appreciated by those of us stuck at home

I watched as much as I can from online. Kudos for you all! You got out there and showed 'em what you're workin with. That's 3/4 the battle! The venue looked great. The live feed was wonderful. I wished I were there to hang out and help!

I hope to see you guys at Nationals. That's practically in my back yard compared to these other shows

Congrats! I'm sure you're proud of Premo. You were vindicated at Scottsdale and again at Vegas. I also suspect that Vegas had the toughest competition and the best judges.

All the crap we went through in the early days of the scorecard seems like the distant past.
