HI from Ohio

HI, My name is Lori, Loriwoo on most other sites, I am from Brookville OH.
I show WP and halter, as I only have horses doing those disciplines now, but have also done sidesaddle and hunt, my daughter adding native costume to the whole thing.

We were out of showing a couple of years due to breeding interests and because we were bringing our young horses along, Class A was too expensive to season any youngster, so we hit the open circuit, which was actually GREAT fun and cheap and we won a lot of really nice stuff!
embroidered chairs, picture frames, a mirror with my horse painted on it, embroidered hay bags and blanket covers, etc etc.
But Class A, well there is just something about being there with all the other Arabian and Half Arabians. We miss it. So we are coming back, did 2 A shows this year, hopefully 4 next, but $$$ is an issue as well.

Ohh noooo don't feel left out!...sometimes I don't get on the AA forum for weeks on end because I also am involved with Victorian Re-enactment and have events weekend after weekend!...then I come back and try to play catch-up! It's really hard to work fulltime, have a toddler, and have all my hobbies...lol wished i could clone myself with 8 arms! Don't take anything personal like that in here...I think people sometimes just pop in and out to read the training stuff, too, but don't post anything...and that's ok, too!...this is definitely a no pressure forum for all of us!

Welcome to the bunch! You will fit in fine here - I am sorry that I missed your original post - I am in Region 14 and you know me - Liberty Equine Supply - just down the road from Brookville. Like McShane said - people kind of wander in and out here. Not the high hit levels of some of the other sites, but much more productive! ( You do know that OHAHA is having both of their shows in Springfield next year? April 22 - 24 and Sept 3 & 4. Then of course, the Summer Sizzler is there - July 16 & 17. There is also going to be an open show ther Feb 19 & 20.)

There is a mix of people here - ammys from very beginner to VERY experienced, trainers pop in and out and are willing to answer questions....everyone will put their head's together and try to work things out.

well, now see, Audie, that is great to be told about the shows! ANd I need to come see the new Liberty Equine, haven't been in since you moved.

Thanks for the show dates, I'll try to make those shows if they aren't too expensive.
