| Hey everyone. I see a lot of the same members from ABN, so hello everyone.
For those that don't know who we are here's our short version:
My husband and I are small breeders. We own our foundation stallion, Straight Egyptian Akdar Brins. We are now standing him, as well as his coming 3 year old son MF Khafaz Fahim (aka JR). We have a selection of broodmares including a SE, Crabbets and American. We also have a TB mare that has produced two outstanding Anglos for us.
We are also ammys at training and showing. I have used a couple of trainers very little to help guide me. I see a dressage trainer from time to time to coach me with my riding and training the boys. We had Ricardo Rivero train our first SE colt MF Noufous Jameel. After 3 weeks of training, I took him into the ring at AHANC for his yearling futurity class, taking Top 5. My first time showing halter. Our 2nd SE colt was trained briefly by the Mistikal Marketing Centre. I am now schooling and conditioning him myself in preparation for Scottsdale. I am also working another filly by Brins to prepare for the show. I am training her from the beginning.
Our real sucess so far has been in the SH arena showing SHIH. With little to no help or training we've taken many championships in the SHIH arena. Our first championship was with JR when he was just 5 months old. He beat 5 other horses aged 2 and under. The next year we showed our yearlings, JR included. He showed very well ending his season with a Top 3 in SHIH Stallions Open at Pacific Slope Championships. The only two stallions to beat him are well under saddle, one showing GP at this point (also a multiple National Champion). His sister MF Malakeh Samrah was named Champion Mare at Pacific Slope Championship, beating out 11 other mares of all ages.
We look forward to meeting many of the Ammy Army members at Scottsdale! | |
