| Hello,
I'm Stacie a dressage trainer in the Sacramento area. Just joining on here from one of my students, and Ammy Army member, Stacy Mortazavi.
What a fabulous forum! I love the general orders and the mission in general. Very, very cool idea.
I hope you don't mind my joining in- sharing my support of your mission.
I train in dressage, but work with a variety of breeds, notably Spanish horses, but the arabs have a special place in my heart. For years I rode on the open h/j circuit, but I've also done limited distance endurance, cow work, and ridden a variety of styles at different times in my life. Currently, I have a straight Egyptian gelding (who I've done a little bit of EVERYTHING on) by Simeon Shai, and last year bought a 3/4 arab mare as a schoolmaster in our barn.
I'm really excited for my students who have arabs and will be showing or competing in endurance this coming season. They've put in a ton of effort and deserve every opportunity to enjoy what they've accomplished.
I look forward to meeting some of the other members of the forum.

| Of course we don't mind Stacie:) Welcome aboard. We have a number of professional trainers onboard now that offer their expertise, insight, and guidance, as people try to achieve their goals. Our Professional members are called "Military Advisors" and are distinguished by the green color you will notice on your screen name. The color helps people seek you out for your advice. We are pleased that you have joined and are happy we finally got a dressage expert to start populating the DRESSAGE LESSON thread. Thank you so much for checking this out. Del | |

| Stacie made it! I'm glad you're here. Welcome to the group. I've been riding with Stacie off and on for 2 or 3 years now (how long has it been?). She's really great and has helped me and my horses, both from the ground and the saddle. Stacie has well rounded training techniques and background. She's very humble out that I think. She even did some training with Parelli. Maybe she'll tell us about that sometime. | |

| Thanks Kaitlyn. He's the one on my profile pic to the left. He's very similar in color and markings to his daddy. Just a bit shorter and stockier I think. Mermaid Akhnaten is his registered name. Named for an Egyptian pharoah. The "Mermaid" part is surely from the breeder. But, he's known around the barn as Augie, Augie Doggie...or Wuzz Up D' Auuugggeee. | |
