I took the mighty mouse in her first under saddle class today! It was her first time under saddle off our property since she got broke!
We just did the walk-trot novice horse classes (EQ and Pleasure) at the local open show. We tied for 6 out of 7 in the first class (Eq). But I was so nervous I could have barfed
and I was WAY too tense and holding her back. She still did awesome, never batted an eye! So in the second class I relaxed a lot more and she did even better, even started reaching to the bit and everything! We took 4th out of 7!!!
We were even having bad thunderstorms and it was a torrential downpour during the second class (it was in an indoor, but with open sides), and she acted like she'd been doing it for ages. (See going in all those halter classes the last 3 years paid off!!)
I'm so excited! She even did great in her halter class and was stretching to the whip and everythings (we didn't place in there, there were 21 horses in the class, mostly stock horses).
Yea!!
