Palo Duro Canyon is about 15 miles south of Amarillo, TX. It's second in size only to the Grand Canyon. It will test you. But it is gorgeous!

They offer rustic camping, RV camping with full hookups, and, camping with horses. I believe they offer hookups while camping with horses, too.

If only I lived closer to Texas...what an amazing place that is!!...I'd love to backpack in it! I'm a big fan of Zion Natl Park and the Grand Canyon north rim...Palo Duro reminds me of them! Thanks for sharing!
