| Now would be a good time for all Scottsdale participants to take stock of our needed equipment and what each party can bring. For example, TV/DVD combo, Tables, White board for class management, Refrigerator, plug in fountain or waterfall for incorporation into the theme, chairs, coolers, hanging racks for tack, blender(s), portable lights, extension cords, power strips, strings of "under cabinet" type kitching lighting, etc....not that we need all of those things but those are some items off of the top of my head. I am bringing stall drapes, equipment bags, black chairs (4), sander for feet, extension cords, a giant white cooler for drinks and ice, portable lighting for stalls and will be buying lumber on scene in order to build our headquarters. In addition, we should design and print flyers to announce an Ammy Army barn party one evening. Anyone good at that stuff? I can provide Cammy background file to anyone who wants to use it for the flyer. Please sound off on the "things" you think we may need while there. | |

| I worked a little bit on a flyer, although I'm no pro. If we have one, that would be great. We need to pick a day that works with everyone's schedule and doesn't conflict with the other activities going on. We bring 2 large tables, 6 chairs in our barn color burgundy, a TV/DVD player, have some tack racks although we usually fill those with just our stuff, pad locks for doors, burgundy stall drapes if needed for a tack/changing room or groom stall, will bring a hose, 3 or 4 extension cords, a surge bar, blender, coffee maker, 2 tubs for drinks/ice (good for the party). Anything else? | |

| I also need to address all AMMY ARMY members who are attending Scottsdale but without showing a horse. You need to of course consider the AA stalls as your homebase during the show. That is true 24X7. Now, if you wish to participate in terms of helping with costs and/or labor you also need to feel free to bring your promotional material for display at the barn. For the cost of say, mulch, food, drinks, or anything you think will enhance the experience for all, you need to know that you are indeed part of the invasion. | |

| I have got like a 3 page list of all the items I need to bring. I have coolers, lighting, extension cords, DVD player, flyers and videos to hand out, table, hose, hangers for tack, etc. I'm pretty good at flyers as I have designed mine to distribute. I print them full page on flyer/brochure paper. | |

| May I suggest that you not use fluorescent lights, because they are big and fragile...
We use clamp lights with 100 watt bulbs in them, two or three in the groom room. They look like this... Clamp Lights
They work wonderfully well, and they REALLY heat up the room. Which in Scottsdale is a BIG plus. Plus you can just stick em to the top of the walls. They're cheap and they provide more light than you'd think they would.
Just a suggestion, from someone who's not a fan of fluorescents. lol

| Again, I'll be there to help out with the horses/barn, cheer everyone on, and hang out! I have not heard from Kandie lately but last I checked I was riding in with her. If she has enough car space I will try to bring some extra camp chairs if they are needed. I'll bake some cookies or something to bring along too! I don't have one but... Maybe a BBQ/grill might be a good plan? A crock pot maybe? I don't know if you guys want to do much "eating in" but a kitchen set up can be fun at horse shows. And I am happy to help cook for the Army. | |

| We're bringing a BBQ. I'm actually thinking of asking the hubby to make some of his chicken. I think I still have my crockpot too. We have 6 chairs, plus the benches that we will bring for seating. Paper products and plastics can be purchased at Sams. We'll be making a run there probably the afternoon of the 10th to stock our condo. Hubby and I are kind of on a diet so are trying to eat healthy. Probably won't be eating too much at the grounds. I was thinking about Kandie this morning. It would be great if she could get some pix during the party. | |

I was looking to see if I could "borrow" one from work but I haven't found an unused one. What I could also do is get those giant sized post-it notes. That way I dont even have to bring it home with me! | |

| If not, let me know, I'll purchase one before we leave. I'm also bringing one of those blanket racks from Schneiders. Holds 12 I think. I figure between coolers, saddle pads, sweats, blankets, etc. It'll get used. Will also bring 3 4-hook bridle racks. 3 saddle free standing rack. Is anyone else riding other than me (even if just for training?)? | |

| I have a white board here at home...it's my daughter's and I'll snake it from her. I also have 2 6' banquet tables a microwave, some fold up chairs, my toaster oven might be toast by now, I'll have to see if it's too ghetto to bring. I used to show with just a small table area for myself...so I don't have a huge amount to contribute..but I'll see what I can conjure up...I may also have an oriental carpet, too...but would be cool to have a camo one!

| I have extension cords, spliters (to run multiple cords from one source, orbital sander for feet, circular saw to build the stall front, and I will be picking up lumber, screws, nails, paint, etc, upon my arrival in Scottsdale. Drapes are done and I plan on having the AMMY ARMY stall fronts done prior to eveyone else's arrival. | |
