| Hi Everyone, We've mentioned doing a barn party. At least those who have horses, can you please give us an idea of what day would work for you? Natalie, you mentioned at one time that you might be leaving on Monday or Tuesday? Is that still the case, or are you going to stay longer? I was thinking the 16th (Mon) in the evening. Thoughts? Other suggestions? Here are some other things going on: Cedar Ridge is doing their sale on the 17th Stallion auction is the 18th and Gemini Ranch is doing their open house/stallion presentation on the 20th after morning classes | |

| A party following the Stallion auction would work as well. Perhaps, since Prize is being presented at the Auction, folks may want to come see him in person and that coupled with the party would generate traffic for all the horses....just a thought. | |

| I'll be arriving on Wednesday, the 11th. Depending on how Psymin does in his 3yo halter class...if he makes Monday the 16th's elimination, he will show back on Thursday the 19th. If he doesn't make the cut, we'll leave on Tuesday the 17th to head back to Texas. | |

| You can probably get a confirmation letter from AHA to allow you to show. We have a friend that did that last fall on her filly. Of course, that was original registration. They've been really helpful with me. Rebecca, who is taking care of NL while you are away? | |

| Rebecca, what is you driving time to Scottsdale? The show starts on the 12th and you really should consider getting him their earlier. After he unloads he is going to need a full day to settle in before you can consider presenting him to potential customers. Add any grooming you need to get done and he won't be ready to present until the 17 or 18th. That is a lot of lost time for you. | |

| The papers thing is a bit complicated, originating with his previous owner...I have been in contact with AHA Del had mentioned to me that if I bring him early he, or other volunteers, might be so kind as to help feed while I was gone...please let me know if I'm mistaken and I will try to make other arrangements I'm trying to schedule around the show, someone watching my children so I don't have to bring them, and my work....if I took the whole week off, it would be without pay...no time on the books. I hear it's an approximately 6 hour drive from my place, so it sounds like a fairly easy/short drive from me. | |

| We shall take care of him until you return. No worries. since it is only 6 hours, you may want to consider bringing him in early. Sure you will be tired the next day...lol....but he will be settled in. Just a thought. | |

| Thank you, Del. I am off work on Thurs the 12th at 6pm..home by 7pm ( I work a 4/10 schedule M-Th)...should I bring him that early...that Thurs night or Friday (13th) morning instead of the 14th/15th?...I was just trying to be considerate and not cause considerable more work for others. I can stay until Sunday the 15th then drive home to go to work that Monday the 16th. | |

| We will all be happy to watch over your boy. Bring him as early as you can. D, can you present NL if we do the party when Rebecca is at home? I want to try and accommodate everyone with horses. If Natalie might be leaving on Tuesday, we should schedule the party for Monday. It would be after our round of liberty also. Not sure when NL is competing and did I hear that D's big guy is competing also? | |

| Sorry...been gone to Needles since 2 pm and just got in! NL's liberty is Section D scheduled for Friday afternoon...D has said there are usually not enough entries and all the A-D sections are typically held on the final night, Saturday...I also don't want to take away from other horse's being presented...so it's ok to not present NL if it means someone else who is already there doesn't miss the opportunity to bring out their horse...especially if some people have more than one horse there...it's only fair not to take away from others. | |

| Of course I will present him. I would be more than pleased too. Rebecca, look at the calendar, check with Scottsdale to see how early you can haul in and try to be there as close to my arrival as possible. I plan on arriving the afternoon of the 9th. Of course, all of this is "suggestion". | |

| We've gone to a "stallion parade" several years here, along with barn parties at the shows. It's usually pretty casual, meet and greet, talk to visitors and have your ponies looking show ring pretty. Along with some food and drinks... Rebecca, I would expect that someone will be able to show NL to any visitors wanting to see him. | |

| There has been some mention of advertising from AA members. I advertised in the January issue of the Arabian Virtual Magazine. Really reasonable rates! They are charging $50 for February and will be doing a big showcase of Scottsdale horses. I will be doing an ad or two of our horses. Do we want to finalize our party date, finish the flyer and advertise in the mag? I can also ask if she will give us a discount if we each want to do an individual page and the flyer page. That would be 5 pages with each of the farms participating, plus the party flyer. What does everyone think? | |

| Heard back on the discounted ads, $40 for each page. We have to supply the artwork, otherwise there is a charge for that. If everyone interested wants to email their ads to me, I can take Paypal payments and send all the ads in at one time. If everyone is comfortable with that? So, individual farm ads $40, plus $10 for each AA member for the party flyer, $50 total from each farm. | |

| I won't be in Scottsdale but I'd love to be a part of the ammy army ad if I could? I have two of my girls hitting the show ring next year so would love to present them to the world so to speak. I also would LOVE to be in any/all ads the army does from now on, when I do get my stallion then I can advertise him but for now, just the girls if I could? | |

Hi Nat, The party will be on Monday the 16th after the classes for the day (Right D?). I think we can arrange food and drink once we're down there. We have a Sams Club membership if we want to purchase there, and it's only about 5 minutes away. Your flyer should be fine in JPG or PDF. I have made up a flyer, but would love input from you since your flyers are pretty fancy. | |

| Shahnara, you're more than welcome to advertise with us! We are doing the flyer for the barn party, but are also going to be doing individual farm ads. Maybe you can do one of those? We should come up with a small logo for the Ammy Army that can be added to our individual farm ads. | |
